Remembering 9-11 and honoring those who were there...blessings to those who lost loved ones and those who helped. We will never forget...!
Where I was: I was driving to work & heard the news on the car radio. Pulled over in disbelief. When I got to work, NO ONE KNEW yet! I had to tell them. They all stopped what they were doing & we listened on the radio. We went home early to hold our loved ones dear.
We’ll never forget that horrible day, never ever.
ReplyDeleteA fine tribute for the victims of that horrid day, then and since. Respectfull purrs. ERin
ReplyDeleteBeautiful tribute for 9/11.
ReplyDeleteGod Bless America - The Mom was asleep and the Dad called her from work to turn on the TV. She couldn't believe what she was seeing... Too shocking... and an omen of things to come.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely tribute to 9/11.
ReplyDeleteI am sure we will all remember where we were on the heartbreaking morning ...
ReplyDeleteSame for me. I was driving to work and when I got there, hardly anyone had heard the news. We turned on a TV and watch in horror the events as they unfolded. Such a sad day. ~Island Cat Mom

What a lovely remembrance photo. Mom had the Today show on when the first plane hit and watched the entire event unfold on TV. It still hurts our hearts. Thanks so much for hopping on such an important day. XOCK, Lily Olivia, Mauricio, Misty May, Giulietta, Fiona, Astrid, Lisbeth and Calista Jo
ReplyDeleteI also love your illustration. And your words. What a terrible day, indeed.

I'm sorry I'm late to this tribute. Thank you for sharing this in remembrance of such a sad day. We will never forget.
ReplyDeleteWe werent alive then. But TBT says he felt the Pentagon attack as a "thump" from the floor and didn't know what it was at the time.
ReplyDeleteA moving selfie for this long-remembered and sad selfie day.
