Evo ChickenTurkey Review #ChewyInfluencer

This month we had an incredible dream that we were wining and dining royally at a picnic. Our human who is participating in's #Chewyinfluencer program caused it all to happen!

Peaches' Dream

Here's how it all started:  I was having this really nice dream about chicken & turkey...

when all of a sudden the most delectable picnic feast possible appeared before my eyes!

Well we knew all about EVO which is what it was. The full name of the delicacy is "EVO 95 Grain Free Chicken & Turkey Recipe in Gravy Canned Cat Food.

I was very eager to try these delectable morsels I'd heard so much about. First of all, it is modeled after the food cats eat in the wild and is low-carbohydrate and grain-free.  A winner so far! Also it's fortified with vitamins & minerals which keep our coats shiny and healthy!

I got to the picnic table first because Paprika couldn't seem to tear herself out of bed.  After all, it's MY dream, right? But we MUST find a human soon to open these cans.

While we were waiting we learned even more about this EVO food. It is easily digestible for those with sensitive tummies, and it is often recommended for kitties with diabetes.

Paprika's Dream

Meanwhile, Paprika was having a dream of her own.  She too would wake up to her own sumptuous picnic table filled with even more EVO goodies.

She could hardly believe her eyes.

Finally, not a moment too soon, the humans in charge decided to open the cans and, well, we "went at it" like the little savages we are!  the humans ate some strange other food called hamburgers, but we had eyes only for EVO

Well, this was just about the best dream I ever had, and the only thing that would have made it better would be if I could have had all the EVO goodies to myself instead of having to share them with Paprika.

The Last EVO can...

Oh, by the way, we learned also that EVO is chock full of other healthy ingredients like Omega-3 Fatty acids...apples....yum

Finally we finished and we were down to just ONE KNOW who got the one can!

After our feast, our human could not find Paprika for a while, but finally located her!
You can obtain Evo 95 Grain-Free Chicken & Turkey canned cat food with gravy via's website. A 24 can case of 5.5 ounce cans costs $36.48 and 1-2 day shipping for orders over $49 is free.

After the picnic...

If only dreams did not have to end!  The following morning, while taking our daily stroll, Paprika and I had some very pleasant memories...

Now that we know what we like, we WILL beseech our human to bring us EVO asap!!!

As members of the Chewy Blogger OutreachInfluencer program, we received a case of Evo 85 GrainFree Chicken & Turkey with Gravy Canned Chicken dinner in exchange for our fair and honest review.

Vet Visit! It's over! Yay!

We thought we would share our vet visit to Star Meadow Animal Clinic here in Connecticut with you all today. After all what are these visits for, if not to share with our friends!

Of course on the way to the vet, me and Paprika sang the song of our people   It was scandalous the way our humans stuffed, yes stuffed us into something called "cat carriers." Outrageous, I say.
 --Peaches the cat

There were some positives at the vet. Of course everyone fell in love with me.  I enjoyed showing off my charms, as always!

I hung out with Brittany for a while, talking with and entertaining her while we waited for the Doc.

After a few exchanges I knew I had a fan! Carol tried to hold me too, but I said to her: "I'm with Brittany now."

PAPRIKA was next at bat. She is a coward, just look! She will have to come out sometime.

The next event was a tummy exam for both of us.

I, Paprika thought I'd get a tummy rub like at home, but no such luck. Check out how cleverly I've curled my tail around the vet's hand.  That's in case she gets too feisty!

I, Peaches, decided to put up with the whole thing, but was not particularly pleased.

At last I got to show off my white tummy & paws during the event! And of course I will later get my, um, revenge!

Finally we were pronounced as reasonably healthy kitties & allowed to go home and relax.  We plan to sleep for several days.

Thank you for reading about our visit. We hope your next vet visit is smooth and respectful!

Peaches & Paprika at Marys Kitty Korner

This is the first picture I saw of Peaches - on the internet!
Who could NOT fall in love with this cat?

National Adopt-a-Shelter Month

This month we wanted to honor my kitties' previous shelter home, where I had the fortune to encounter Peaches & Paprika!

Marys Kitty Korner, is a sunny no-kill "home-like" shelter  for cats where our human met us.  We had previously been "rescued from a kill shelter in New York & we ended up in this new place, a big white house with lots of sunny windows & dedicated volunteers.  But many other cats with whom to compete!

So here's how it went:  My human fell in love with me, Peaches, on the internet!  You saw the picture (above) on "Petfinder." She was immediately smitten with me!  Immediately she said to herself:

 "I must have that cat!"

That's  me on TOP!
Mary's Kitty Korner - where I and Paprika were living
She then made inquiries about me, got directions and found I was living in a big white house in Granby, Connecticut with 50 other cats!

When my owner first laid eyes on me, I had the best spot in the cat house - a spot on a high window in the sun.  However, to tell you the truth, when she walked into the room I was flirting with another customer!

That's MY Cat!

Flirting and posing on the window for my admirers

My human was crushed, thinking another customer had scooped me up. She immediately announced, to the shocked onlookers:  "Hey that's MY cat!" - even though she'd never met me before!

Mary's Kitty Korner's manager, Miss Lisa, DID tell the other customer that Carol had "first dibs" on me, much to her great relief.
Sad Paprika--thinking she might get left behind!

And then there's Paprika...

Well here's the deal, I have this sisfur, Paprika, and let me tell you we're a Package deal - ain't going nowhere without my sisfur!  That was fine with the human.  She WANTED two cats!  So she met  shy Paprika  who was hanging out in another room.

Paprika is transfixed by "the feather"

The human, Carol, was not bothered by Paprika's shyness, (I've cautioned Paprika to look more "upbeat" like ME!) She started to play with Paprika & her eyes actually danced!

The Sunny Rooms at Marys Kitty Korner:

There were many neat rooms at Marys Kitty Korner that the human visited - where cats could play and sun themselves. Most have a grand ole time but who wants to live in a dorm?
Another sun and playroom at Marys Kitty Korner

We state our case

We decided to "state our case." After all, we did not wanther to get tempted by "other cats!"

For good measure, I tried one more "window maneuver" and Paprika tried to look particularly Beseeching!

Wouldn't YOU like a playful cat with such PURRsonality? about it?  Deal is sealed?
SNIFF! Pawleeeez..

Goodbye Marys Kitty Korner...
thank you for letting us stay here!

The human did not have to think about it long....she opted for BOTH of us....a wise decision!  White House:  Goodbye.
Check us out below in our "new" home...

Our New Digs

Here we've just arrived! The first few hours in our room we were given the "executive suite" - well actually, it was her bathroom, decorated with a plush blue rug, food & water, toys, a cool scratching post and lots of hiding places. Soon we were allowed to explore other rooms!

We love our home and being able to "prowl around" without bumping into 50 other cats!
We did wonder...
Will we be STAYING here?

Thank you to Marys Kitty Korner for sheltering these delightful fur did a great job!
