Friends of Peaches and Paprika have a blast celebrating NATIONAL CRAYON DAY! Our human found some CAT-SAFE Crayons, invited the neighborhood cats AND our friends and a party took place! (see short vid below! has music!)
Happy National GOOF OFF day to all! this special day is dedicated to "goofing off" and what better activity for CATS? We told our human we'd like to have one EVERY day. We could literally post hunreds of award-winning goof off pictures, but here's one for starters! We're also having a Goof Off Parade Contest with blue, red and gold ribbons on our new group.
So if you have a mad desire to shoff off your fur-ball goofing off, join us here!
Our human insists on gallivanting around going to other places and looking for OTHER CATS to feature. Well we had nothing to say about it but she curates a CREATIVE CAT GROUP on Fine Art America Gallery, and holds contests form time to time. She thinks the winners are really cool cats and wanted to feature them. (Of course, WE had nothing to say about it). She thinks you might enjoy a little variety on this blog and as Caturday Art Lovers, why not? So here were our talented winners!

Or course we cannot close this post without INSISTING on Equal Time, so here's a picture of US we just know you must be waiting for!
It's a traditional on our Facebook page, now Peaches and Paprika group that in conjunction with the OSCARS, we hold the yearly OS-KAT awards. We've had many exciting winners in the past, and this year's final contenders are just, well FULL of that cattitude we treasure.
Having said my piece, here are the "real" winners this year!
FIRST PLACE
The entrancing "Miss Scribbles," a well known "star" "ran off" with the prize this year. No one could resist her sly look while clinging to her magic yellow banana.
SECOND PLACE
Another "high contender" was newcomer, "Willow" a round, orange cat who WE thought was too sweet to display ANY cattitude...our readers however did not agree. It's possible the sweet look could be deceiving.Well, not everyone can win these things, but -- AGAIN! -- here is what I, Peaches, think should have been the outcome!
Of course as my human frequently points out, I cannot always get what I want...I disagree. What do YOU think?Hope all enjoyed the Oscars this year...a bright light in the middle of a complicated time....
We are joining The Cat on My Head's hop...
