Sweet Memories from the Holidays

My sisfur, Paprika is all about serious New Year's resolutions, whereas  I am holding on to sweet holiday memories...our red & white house, MY red  & white blankie..catnip...catnip...catnip...Okay so it's not Tummy Tuesday, but I am having a, um, "readjustment" period after the holidays!  My human says "get over it!" How callous...don't you think?

I was inspired by Cat on My Head's "Niphead" post to post my old picture inside a Purrpak box in years past.  Here I am zonked out after intense nipping.

MEOW BOX REVIEW

 Our human got really lucky last month and won a MEOWBOX at Sweet Purrfections' Give Away.     
Since our human had surgery in early Feb, she's just now getting back in the swing of things. Oh well, we got the box finally!

Meowbox is a cat subscription box, full of surprises, toys and treats, delivered to your door every month!  

So though we had to wait a little while to explore this intriguing box....we DO wish to share with you our joy in exploring it Here is what transpired:

to get to the bottom of things.  Watch THIS!

I'm intrigued by that pie-shaped blue thing, Peaches. I'm leaning toward BITING IT!

Ah, here's the whole array of goodies, Peaches! Since YOU haven't learned to READ I will read it to YOU!

Peach Pet Provisions Catnip Kick Toys

What better company for Peaches and Paprika to review than Peach Pet Provisions!  We are having a wonderful time reviewing their organic catnip kick toys which the cats will tell you about themselves in a minute.

I decided, for a little variety, to place the toy in a box and roll around on top of it!

I know that looked a little odd, but I was really getting into it!

Our last venture was the blue & white "LOVE BUS" toy

Both Paprika & I "got ahold" of it! Watch my ears curling up!

  

By now, we are feeling no pain....but it's time

to make a choice...

We choose...ALL of THEM!

Having been forced to share with my sister Paprika, yet again,

it was decided the only thing to do now was to take a catnap.

Peaches and Paprika enjoy first Purr-Pack

This was a special day for us because we finally got to open our  first Purr-pack. We would have opened it earlier but our human had to go out of town for a few days and made us wait!!!  (Unfair) Our interest was piqued right away by seeing a large cardboard box full of...well you'll see in a minute.

About Purr-Pack

We learned from our human that this medium Purr-pack (aptly called "Fun & Love") contains at least 7 to 10 different toys, treats and other goodies... 

And this box had a halloween theme! With orange, black, green and scary things!  We got out our special halloween bedspread to comfortably explore it!

Of course, I, Peaches the cat, got to the box first! One of my early discoveries was  a delicious fish with a huge red mouth & google eyes.

ZZZZZZZZ..Sleeping it off...

I was delighted with this Purr-pack and found it a joyous experience for myself and my kitties and an excellent value.  My calicos can be finicky especially when it comes to new toys and they loved quite a high percentage of the toys.  

I also liked the way it encouraged the two of them to play and explore TOGETHER.  Even though they are sisters, they are not always so companionable and I am trying to encourage that.  

Lastly, I liked the "seasonal" touch, and the halloween theme being used.
