Our human loves plants but since we also love them, she's migrated to mostly artificial. Still, it's nice to think about those green growing things in the middle of winter. She did locate an article of some HOUSEPLANTS TO AVOID though! Just click on the link for more info. At Chez Carol, our human's house, she keeps only artificial plants these days. That doesn't stop ME from pretending to take a bite if she's not paying enough attention to me.

Houseplant Appreciation Day: Which plants are toxic?
Our human loves plants but since we also love them, she's migrated to mostly artificial. Still, it's nice to think about those green growing things in the middle of winter. You can never be too careful with cats and plants. I have never forgotten when I saw on TV a few years back there was a funny cats video programme on. I think it could have been "You've Been Framed. Of course some of those videos are 10 years old or more.
ReplyDeleteOne of the cats was chewing on Stargazer lily leaves and leaping into the flowers with pollen flying everywhere. It was so upsetting because that poor cat was destined for a painful death. The person videoing was laughing like a maniac!

The mom has really gotten into house plants lately. She knows which ones are toxic to us cats...many of them are. But fortunately, we aren't interested in them.

ReplyDeleteGee, we hope you don't find out what ones our MOM has because WE think they are scrumptious. for some reason she's quite unreasonable when we try and taste them, though!
