My new friend Calissandra--by Peaches the Cat

I would like everyone to meet Calissandra my new furrrriend.  Paprika was not available for cuddling one day so my human introduced me to this strange looking creature you see at my side.

At first I was not up for any socialization so I tried to ignore her as you can see!

Then I decided to give her the tried and true "whiff & sniff" test

Lo and behold she smelled like Catnip!  Yum....

I decided Calissandra was the gal for me!  She never tries to upstage me like Paprika does either.

Looks like me, smells like catnip..how could we go wrong!  I turned her upside down and gave her little hug, a little squeeze...

And then I assumed my usual position of choice!

Nothing like a little nap with a new friend...

Happy Tummy Tuesday and Way-Out Wednesday to all!

Worldwide Quilting Day - a great day for calico cats!

Our busy human, who never ignores a challenge, decided to make a quilt collage of US for Worldwide Quilting Day. This is a totally cool day for calico cats since a great number of quilts have CALICO prints! It's a day for sewing, admiring quilts, kissing (!) and maybe making a collage!

Needless to say it's also Cat-urday Art Day and we're joining Athena and Marie's art hop! Happy Worldwide Quilting day to all!

Princesses Paprika & Peaches celebrate National Jewel Day

Now here's a holiday we can relate to....National Jewel Day!  Priceless but true! We DO enjoy assuming our rightful thrones as royalty. This is a day to honor beautiful gems, the jewelers who create them and MAYBE a human you cherish too.  OUR human is always promising us diamonds & things like that for good behavior.  We told her CATNIP JEWELRY is of interest to us.  Thus all the above gems were immersed in catnip before we donned them.   For today you may address us as....
