Tribute to Bionic Basil

It has been a sad kitty week indeed! Today we pay special remembrance to Commander Basil, beloved fur-ball of Cathrine. He commanded a staff of countless room-mates and followers at home and abroad and was beloved by all. Here is a short slideshow of 10 things we loved about him the most!

PAPRIKA'S TRIBUTE TO FLYNN

We want to pay tribute to our friend, Flynn today.  He was Peaches & Paprika's first "orange virtual boyfriend" & one of the first blogger kitties who wrote us. For this and for the reason and the fact he was a wonderful boy, he will forever live in our hearts.

 Well I was thinking about the above and decided to make a graphic or two in his honor!

I made this one first, because we always see Flynn enjoying the out of doors and especially trees and grass

Then, I wanted to look at some other pictures through the months and years and I picked out some favorites and made a collage.

Needing a break I left the computer for a few minutes and when I returned THIS is what I found:  kitty Paprika sitting on my desk &  fixedly staring at Flynn on the screen.

I could not get Paprika to budge.  finally she turned around and stared at me with flattened ears!  I imagined her to say:

She turned around to face the computer again!

Peaches, though in another room, was looking dejected as well!

So we part company for now and wish our dear friend Flynn a true reunion with Eric and those of us on earth behind will hope for him the happy romps they could not take together  for a long long time. We send hugs to Jackie & her family. And we will hold her beloved furrball gently in our hearts and watch for cameo "Angel Flynn" appearances.

Human's Note:

Whenever I even THINK of working on the Rainbow Bridge animals' slideshow, (first the cats & now working on the dogs show), Paprika is on my lap purring before I know it!  She snuggles her wam comforting furry self against me so it is easier to work peacefully.  It's as if she senses the emotion behind putting together the video!  I find my cats (and this could go for all animals) amazing in their sensing what is going on, on a deep level!

Remembrance Collages our human made for fellow kitties who crossed the bridge in 2015! Thought we'd show them for Caturday Art Day.  They were made with PicMonkey a program we're getting to love, despite the strange name.  The collages were made to accompany the slideshow of this week honoring our fellow kittens  We will be doing one more post of the slideshow for the hop tomorrow. BLOGGERS RAINBOW BRIDGE REMEMBRANCE - CATS 2015
This Rainbow Bridge Rememberance slideshow honors all bloggers cats who crossed the bridge in 2015. (Well, we did include those who crossed in 2016 as well...!) 

We had nearly 70 cats ending up in the show, so  to keep it to a manageable length (10 minutes) we alas could not show anyone's photo longer than a few seconds. The alternative would have made the show much too long, or leave kitties out. Thanks for your understanding.
