We move to the beach! But are surrounded by boxes...

Announcement:  Mom Carol (with us) is moving near the beach!  She is very happy about it.  She bought a little blue mobile home in a 55+ affordable community just a block away from the water at the Connecticut shore.  Happy!  We?  Less so!  Hmmmph.  Moving AGAIN?  As a bribe, she has offered us two beach houses of our own to make up for the disruption.

But is that enough?

We saw something I have a dim memory of from not long ago and it was NOT a good memory!

I  have always believed in being open and forthright about my opinions. - Peaches

I, Paprika, am trying to put a Positive spin on things.  unlike grouchy Peaches.

But even I, "Paws-i-tive Paprika" questioned the quantity of b-o-x-e-s.

I decided to nestle in places I don't normally frequent -- like the BACK of the sofa on the floor -- so the humans do not forget I, Peaches, am here too!

I could pretend to be cooperative which I often do.  But not today!

Meanwhile, I, Paprika, have big decisions to make today.
We are joining Cat on My Head today for our beloved Sunday hop.

All I Want For Christmas Is...

I managed to wrest control away from the furries in order to write this post.  It wasn't easy since they've always insisted on writing all the posts themselves.

Just want to say, it's getting close to our Annual "GOTCHA" day next week (December, 2012) and I woke up this morning feeling very thankful for t these two sweet as ever fur-balls...I know I'm gonna catch H___ though for stealing their thunder~!

We're joining Athena and Marie's hop today!

Clean Up Your Room Day For Cats

Oh GOODIE! It's National Clean Up Your Room Day today (May 10) and our human asked us to help. Need we say more?

You can read more about this fun holiday HERE! But the meaning is obvious: it's time to put staff away, organize, throw away the old, and WE CATS are here to contribute!

Rennovation Cats - Part 1

PEACHES: Well construction day is tomorrow, but today there is an important job to do:  Packing up the kitchen cabinets!  Well naturally, we had to snoopervise big time...!

I want it to be known, I, Peaches the Cat, am in charge here!

If there's boxing to be done, it's time to go into action!

PAPRIKA

I, I, Paprika. am no slouch when it comes to investigations!  For example, I can get in high places and look down on all the
action.  OR....

Here I am, taking a rest in a special dry cleaning bag.

PEACHES

So here I am, in the center of all the activity.

THEN..I went MISSING!
However m human  found me hiding inside a cubby hole.. (darn!)  I had forgotten to hide my leg and toes!

One important thing: no one had better take my leopard hidey toy!  Or anything else I use daily!

But... why is the coffee-maker in the living room?

To be continued....

Happy International Box Day

Peaches & Paprika return from sabbatical to celebrate International Box Day 2016

What the H.... is Paprika doing down there?

Peaches come down here! These are great boxes!

Hmmm....this bears closer scrutiny

Oh, Okay, if you insist...I'll join you!

An inelegant view of Peaches' backside...dig that white leg patch!

I'll get there, I'll get there!

Quiz:   WHICH CAT IS THIS, PEACHES OR PAPRIKA? (They look alike from the back!)

ANYWAY, WE BOTH WISH YOU HAPPY INTERNATIONAL BOX DAY...And may you find boxes where-ever you go!

Signed, Peaches, Paprika and Carol

INTERFERENCE FRIDAY

I see, she's got all the reports in this box top
Carol is being a pain in the neck, going to a place she calls "work" while leaving us alone.  THEN working at home on top of it.  We had to take matters into our own hands and get involved....

What have we here, a 2ND box top?

Given the complexity of the task,I've asked my sister Paprika for assistance.

It's a tight squeeze!

Aren't we a lot cuter than that "work"?
