Just call me "Purple Peaches." This day is to raise awareness of Epilepsy by wearing purple. Although I have no purple in my wardrobe, I have done my best to surround myself with purple to honor this day. I even have my own purple blanket! You can read more about this day HERE!

ReplyDeleteEpilepsy Day is awareness day too. How much do you know about this illmess. Do you know that epilepsy is listed as a mental disorder? I being an epileptic can be a member of the Brain Injuried Group even though I have no brain injury. These are old lav=bels that need changing drastically. These labels almost guarantee that epileptics will be treated differently. Let's stir the pot and have all people and pets treated equally.

DeleteWe agree with Jean and really appreciate you having this post today. Our pal Sawyer at The Cat on My Head has seizures which may be different than human ones but very debilitating
