An Oil Painting for Paprika

Paprika here and Here I am in oils!  Wow, I'm liking it!  It's not every day I get painted AND framed!  Today, I am lazing around with a bit of "nip" and my crafty human used the Painnt  "Crazy World" with transparence around 60% HD Filter and a frame from image framer.  We're joining Athena & Marie's Hop today and look forward to visiting other artsy kitties!   Yours truly, Paprika

We also decided to do the Friendly Fill-ins from 15andmeowing and Four-Legged Furballs!

Peaches' answers:

1. If it wasn't for Paprika, I would get the whole bed and our human to myself. I object to just confining myself to the right side of the bed.

2. Meow loudly similar to a war cry before pouncing on the bed to keep my human company.

3. Giving diva intense stares is my preferred method of communication. This lets the human know I am present and interested,.

4.  You can't buy enough catnip to keep me happy.

Paprika's answers

1. If it weren't for Peaches, I wouldn't have to share my human and stay only on the right side of the bed. It's a drag having to limit your territory.

2,  Maintain absolute silence before pouncing on the back of the human's chair.  That way she thinks you have been air-lifted and has no opportunity to object.

3. Rubbing my cheek sweetly against others  is my preferred method of communication.

4. You can't buy enough boxes with windows or tunnels  to keep me happy. I just can't get enough of them!

Pastel Peaches on a Pedestal - Caturday Art

My human decided I should be put on a pedestal for my pastel peaches portrait for Caturday Art.  Well I should think so!  So what if it's just the high perch of my cat condo?  It gives me prominence, don't you think? And prominence is what this girl enjoys!

Caturday Art...Colorful Window Portrait by Human

Nothing like a colorful window portrait for a muggy august day.  Here I am staring at my human who is staring at me, camera in hand.  Camera, camera always the camera.  But I love it!  This portrait made by the Painnt Drips filter. Fun!

And this (below) is how she rendered it after the photograph!  Peaches...a star!

Happy National PINK Day!

Are we PINK enough? 

We ladies had never heard of "NATIONAL PINK DAY" but when our human told us about it, we couldn't celebrate fast enough!  For today, she used the Painnt Lysergic effect (what a name!) but it worked and we came out a nice sorta pinky color!

There are many ways to celebrate this national day, as not everyone can just "turn pink" the way we did!  

You can wear pink things

You can cook with pink (cookies with frosting, anyone?)

Or go to the park and find pink flowers...

Buy pink flowers for your honey...

Evil Peaches? Caturday Art

While I was lounging peacefully in my cat condo, my human came right up to me and "transformed me" into an evil princess with the filter "Painnt" - which Athena told her about. she used the "Charleston" effect this time.

But actually, I think I look a little mean here, don't you? 

Even meaner than when I'm mad at Paprika & trying to teach her a lesson. But I'll be back to my own sweet non-evil self soon!  I promise! Happy Caturday to all my friends and subjects!

Blue & Orange Calicos - Caturday Art

MOL, did you know it was US?  Our human is at it with the creative filters again! This one is from "PAINNT" - for IOS only!  A few of the filters are free like "Xeneize" (this one). Otherwise there is a small subscription. 

We have some additional comments:

Peaches: I'm alittle outraged they turned my beautiful white vest to "orange." How did THAT happen?

Paprika:  I'm delighted they have enhanced MY orange vest!

Anyway we did have a fun time trying this out and back to our "real" selves tomorrow. We're joining Athena & Marie's Caturday Art hop today & Happy Caturday to all!
