Well, we WERE going to take a well-deserved day off, but then YOU KNOW WHO advised us it is National Pet Day! She made a collage for the occasion and EVEN included D-o-g-s! Good thing she made a little room for US or we woulda had to rebel!

 Happy National Love Your Pet Day!  This is a day to cherish your pets everywhere and a special holiday is devoted to US! 

There are many ways to love a pet - treats, pets, extra attention...or it can be as simple as "holding paws!" I always have liked that.

Sometimes my human does like to include other animals on such a special day. There's nothing I or Paprika can do about it. She made this special collage of her neighbors pets, 3 cats from her favorite shelter ("Our Companions,") and, of course WE are in it.

Did you know we are homeowners? This house was sold  to us for 1 meow by a very special friend....BUT...only one of us will fit into it. Who will it be? How will we settle this puzzle?

Carol Returns from Florida

Our human could not get over how "friendly" we were after our Florida trip. (Well after all, how did WE know she was coming back?) . She decided to commemorate our loving embraces with vintage art from Kimi Frames.  Love those frames!  As for us, It is hard to know when our humans take these things called "vacations" when and if they will come back. Seriously. We are cats, how do WE know? After all our previous humans DID desert us & we wanted to make sure we were safe here. so when Carol returned, we showered her with love love love so she would know not to leave us for good. Looks like she got the message!


Here she is below with Paprika and then the last photo is of both of us.  I don't mind sharing her with Paprika...as long as it's not too often!

Cuddly Canine Friends of Our Companions

These beautiful fun dogs I visited at Our Companions in Ashford, Connecticut. Animals live in homey cottages here and cats have their own cottage on the grounds while awaiting their "forever" homes.  My video made with love is attached. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GFmRrOAkKI4

These dogs have for the most part found permanent homes but I plan to visit again soon to meet new friends and introduce them to others via my pictures!
